Key Largo is the first island of the Fabulous Florida Keys, only an hour drive from Miami Airport.  It is self proclaimed as “Diving Capital of the World”.   Key Largo is the gateway to the continental United States’ only living coral reef with the largest artificial reef 510-foot USS Spiegel Grove. Close to the e Everglades wilderness with lots of tropical hardwoods, winding creeks, two state parks, John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, Dagny Johnson Key Largo Hammock Botanical State Park, Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary, and Everglades National Park.
